I regularly revise my instructional materials in order to make them more visually appealing and user-friendly. The advancement in design over the past five years is portrayed through sample syllabi, assignment guidelines, and lecture slides for my ENG 111 College Composition I from 2014 and from 2019.
The assignment sample portrays the scaffolded approach to assignment design, including:

-
the context and the summary of one assignment
-
the sequence of drafting tasks and
-
the assessment strategies (both formative and summative).
The sample lesson plan presented here engages students in collaborating with each other while developing an awareness of themselves as communicators in the multilingual and multimodal twenty-first century society.
